So Excited For My Dear Jane Trip

I wrote this post meaning to post it prior to leaving on my trip to the Bennington Museum in Vermont. However, it was quite busy around our house and all of a sudden it was time to leave, so here it is now.

I am bursting with excitement about my trip to Vermont to see the beautiful antique Dear Jane quilt  that was made in 1863 by Jane A. stickle.

So, since my Dear Jane trip is nearing I thought I'd share a few of my favorite Dear Jane blocks that I've made for my Dear Jane quilt.

In my version of the quilt I am using Kaffe Fassett fabrics. My inspiration came from seeing one that was quilted so beautifully by Judi Madsen on her blog Green Fairy .

Happy quilting,
Angelica

My first post on my blog

So here it is, my first post on my blog. I am very excited to have a blog now. I hope it doesn't take too long to figure out how to do everything on here. While looking at other blogs it all looks so easy. However, getting to this point has taken several hours, infact days. Wish me luck as I start this blogging journey.
